No.there is no official upgrade of ICS on samsung galaxy y duos.
so you cant get it officially however there is custom ROM or theme is available.
go to xda forum and try to find ICS custom rom for your phone.
however this has very risky and it will void your warrenty. in custom ROM there are some functions are missing or not working properly.
but you can get ics theme easily which give you experience of ICS. and also you can get ICS keyboard and some widgets.
In my opinion dont flash your phone with custom ROM if you dont knowledge of it

    hey

I would like to tell you that the thing you are thinking to do is possible but i will not recommend you to do so ...
Every phone has got its own hardware and software specifications ...
The updates which come for the phones or mobiles device depends on the brand or company also ...
Like we can say that some phones are compatible or supported to be used in higher versions of the software while some gives error after the update due to the non supported / incompatible software version being installed in the phone ..

You can do this by rooting the firmware of your phone which will give you opportunity to use your phone in the higher versions of the software and the updates which are also not meant for the phone ..
But first of all i would like to tell you that doing this will lose your warranty of phone if you try to root your phone ..
Rooting your phone is not allowed by the manufacturer and hence when your root your phone and it gets damaged in between the process then there is no responsibility of the company persons and hence you will also not get any type of warranty related help for your phone ....

So , look out for this and better update the software only which is available specifically for your phone by the company itself ...

    thanks

    Hi there,

Sorry buddy but you cannot update the OS version of your device to android 4.0 as it is not compatible with your device.

Or the update has not been released for your device.

But in order to experience some of its feature you can download some of the ANDROID 4.0 themes from the android play store..

    Regards!!

    Hello friend,

Samsung has not yet announced ICS for Galaxy Y duos and won't even announce due to hardware limitations.
So you have to install a custom ICS ROM on your device.

For this, you have to root your device. Bu rooting, you get complete control over your device.
But remember, rooting voids warranty and do it on your own risk.
You can search rooting procedure for Galaxy Y duos on XDA Forums. They would guide you properly.

Once rooted, you may search for custom ICS ROM's for your device.
Many of them are good, but iI'd recommend CyanogenMod 9.
You may download it here. You may have to patch it because it not originally for duos.
The procedure for flashing is given on that site in detail.
You can also flash gapps.zip file for Google services.

    Regards!

    Hello Guest,
YEs it is possible, you can go the samsung Service Centre to get the phone software upgraded. Don't try to upgrade yourself, since its a complicated procedure requiring a thorough knowledge of programming. Thank You. Hope this helps. :-) :-)

You cannot update your device to Android 4.0 as your devices Hardware Specs doesn't support Android 4.0 's minimum requirements.
