I want to use the camera on my Android phone as a webcam for my PC. How can I make it possible?

At first, you need to install a webcam app from Google Play Store. If your phone is running on Android 2.1 or later versions, then it is better to install DroidCam app. IP Webcam is suitable for Android 2.2 or later versions. You can use AndIPCam with all type of Android versions. After installing the app, connect the phone to any Wi-Fi network. Then, launch the app and tap the ‘Settings’ option. You can then set up username and password, adjust resolution, frame rate and quality according to your need. It is also possible to choose the port number instead of using default 8080 port. Once you configure the settings, go to the bottom part of the screen and hit the ‘Start server’ option. The camera preview will appear on the background afterwards along with the IP address and port number. After that, connect the PC to same network and open an internet browser through it. Then, type the IP address and port number visible on the phone into the address field. By the time the PC and phone get connected, you can stream video using the camera in your phone.
