    Hi,
Problem with Samsung Galaxy S plus not able to turn ON can be solved by rebooting the phone to boot loader screen and then install a Custom Recovery using ODIN once the application installs the custom recovery your phone will boot into recovery so that now you have to format\wipe data. By doing that all your data will be erased in your phone and then put the android Ice cream sandwich ROM in your SD card by using the "Mount USB storage" in the recovery option once that is mounted you will be able to transfer the .zip ROM file and then select the option as "Install zip from SD card" there select the ROM zip and then install it. Once the installation is successful reboot the phone.
    Hope this Helps.

Now it looks like you have not followed the procedure correctly and the data seems to be corrupted. This will brick your Device.

If the update you have tried is from the manufacturer and its an official update then you can claim the same in the Service center and they will replace everything Corrupted in the Device. But, if you have manually followed some procedure and tried upgrading then Samsung will not help you in this regard. They will charge a sum for repairing it.

    Hello

This usually occurs when the installation fails because of net disconnection or other problems.

Now what you should do is connect your phone again via usb, open kies on your laptop or pc and try downloading the update again this time make sure you have a good internet connection to complete the download as soon as possible.

If it doesnt work try doing a hard reset by pressing the home button key + the power button key simultaneously for 15 seconds

It should restart the device and hopefully it will start rebooting.

If nothing works go to a service center for help

    Thank you

In such cases easiest way is to hand over your device to the nearest Service center..
they will take care of everything.. but your data would be lost..

    or

you can try installing the ICS again.. via Custom Recovery using ODIN..
for this.. boot your phone into Boot Loader screen and install the ODIN app..
this will boot your phone into recovery mode..
Now you need to format the drives.. then put the ICS ROM in SD card and mount the SD card in phone..
then select 'Install zip from SD card'..
this should install and should reboot to fine state..
