Procedure for wiping out data from Android based Motorola Backflip

The screen of my android based Motorola Backflip phone is not working properly for the past two weeks. It will get stuck intermittently while using an application. I am planning to wipe out all the data in it by performing a reset. What should I do for that?

Go to the center-bottom part of the screen and locate the menu button. Tap that button for opening the apps tray. Navigate through the tray and hit the ‘Settings’ icon. You can then view settings menu on the screen. Locate ‘SD and Card storage’ option from that menu and tap over it once. This will show up ‘Factory Data Reset’ option on the screen. Tap on that option and hit the ‘Reset Phone’ option for getting back to factory settings. If you have saved any important data on the device, create a back up for them before performing the reset.

It is possible to perform factory data reset on your device. You must hit the menu button to move into menu page.Once open will find an option as "Settings" which has to be opened by tapping. You need to scroll down there & tap on "Locate SD & card storage" option & tap to open. You will find an option labelled as "Factory Data Reset".You should tap on that & then tap on "Reset phone".But before you go further create backup otherwise will lose data which are important for you.Once done then tap on "Reset phone" & phone will be reset after sometime & problem might be solved.
