When you receive an attachment, tap the ‘View attachment’ option along with it. On doing so, you can view an icon on the left part of the attachment. Hit that icon so that the attachment will be saved into the SD card. You can find the attachment under ‘All Downloads’ section in the SD card. In the case of Gmail, first tap the ‘Download’ option near to the attachment. It will start the downloading process after that and show the picture if it is an image attachment in the end of the process. The downloaded attachment will be saved into a folder named ‘Other’ on your phone.
