Even though I got several new features after upgrading my Android phone to Android JellyBean 4.1, I like the Google Now application most. Now, I need to set up my home and work location on this application. What are the steps needed to be taken for that?

As a first step, make sure that the Google Maps application is already installed into your device. Launch that application afterwards and go to the top part of the application page. Hit the ‘Maps’ option available over there. Then, make a single tap over ‘Location History’ option. After viewing the location history, go to the lower right part and hit the three vertical dots. This will show up a menu on the screen from which tap the ‘Change work location’ and ‘Change home location’ options. On doing so, Google Now can determine your work and home locations. You can find ‘Travel Time’ card on the Google Now area. By tapping the menu option on that card, you can update the Google Now settings.
Procedures for setting up home and work locations on Google Now in Android JellyBean 4.1 are mentioned below:-
- Install Google Maps application in your device.
- Tap on maps option from the top part of the application page.
- Select location history option.
- Tap on the three vertical dots present in the lower right part.
- Select the menu.
- Tap on change work location & change home location options.
