Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 I9205 LTE battery is draining very fast

I own a Samsung Galaxy Mega. The battery keeps on draining. It didn't used to be like this. When I first used it, for example, if I leave my phone on standby and do nothing with it for 8 hours, the battery will have 92% remaining. But now, if I leave it on standby for the same amount of time, it drops to 11%. And that is a very huge drop.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 I9205 LTE battery is draining very fast

    hey friend ..

The battery backup is the thing which depends on the usage of the phone only..
All phones give good battery backup in the beginning but then when the usage increases day by day the battery backup decreases ..
But it also depends on us how we use and maintain the battery of the phone ...

You can try out some of the points to increase battery backup of your phone...:

    - The brightness of the phone should be kept as low as possible in which you think can adjust to operate the phone normally
    - Also the vibration of the phone is one thing which consumes the battery more .. so , if you think you dont need the vibration facility then do check it and make it off...
    - Try to keep your phone in power saver mode or sleep mode should be activated...
    - Bluetooth , GPS and WIFI are the features which should be turned off when not in use...

    - Always charge your phone completely and not partially
    - Unnecessary apps being opened in the background also consumes battery ... So , close them when not in use ...

Other then this yes you can surely change your battery but change only with the original one ..

    thanks

Its not a big issue. First, you can do which i suggest. then count your mobile show this problem still now or not.
You can close all the app auto booting process. And delete the app which useless for you. And clear browser caches & cookies periodically. and save all the app on your device External memory. Used basic theme and wallpaper. Don't play game and music regularly and very long time. Don't be connected your charger always with your mobile.mobile charger connected when your battery show low battery indication.
I hope to care about above suggestion.you improve your mobile battery life.
If its not working then your mobile battery damage with time or may be possible it having minor manufacturer mistake. so, it life over very soon.
So, keep change this by new one.

HI!! I also own a Samsung galaxy Mega. For the first few days, my battery started draining fast too. HOWEVER, I'd like to share this to others for after doing this, my battery IMPROVED A LOT. I read this in another forum:

    1. Drain your battery til 0%
    2. Remove the sim card from your phone
    3. Fully Charge your battery til 100%
    4. Once it reaches 100%, EXTEND CHARGING for 2 hours.
    5. Open your phone but DO NOT use it for 1 hour (activate FLIGHT MODE)
    6. Turn off your phone after 1 hour then return your sim.
    7. Use your phone now as usual.

After doing this, my phone is now STILL AT 68% after being ON for 1 day and 7 hours.

    Hope this helps you also.
