Samsung Galaxy Note not connecting to Wi-Fi router

When I enter the network password for connecting my Samsung Galaxy Note to Wi-Fi router, it keeps on trying to get Wi-Fi and never connects to the network. I have tried another phone to check whether there is any problem with router and it did connect to the network perfectly. Is there any way available to connect it?

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note not connecting to Wi-Fi router

    Hi,
The problem with the Galaxy Note not being able to connect to a WiFi router might be due to the fact that the WiFi network mode is not supported by the phone. Also you can try to completely remove the network and then you can add it again and see that it is getting connected in order to completely remove the network open the application drawer and then select the "Settings" option in the settings menu under the "Wireless & Networks" menu you will be able to enter into WiFi settings there you can select the network that you are trying to connect to and then select the option as "Forget" with that you will be able to forget the network and again scan for the network so that you can connect to the network.
    Hope this Helps.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note not connecting to Wi-Fi router

    hello friend,

if Galaxy note not able to connect with WiFi router then follow below steps :-

    >> If It is showing some kind of error then restart the system.

    >>If it is showing wifi network available but it not connected then make sure that your phone is not set to static ip address.
if it is set to static ip then
a>enter valid IP address provided by your ISP.

b>if you don't know the address then set it to automatic IP address.

(go to settings>>wireless and networks>>wifi settings>>tap on menu button and select"advance">>after that you can see your ip address settings ).

    >>if all settings are fine but it still not able to connected then try to forget the network and connect it again.if it is password protected then enter valid password .
    your WiFi problem will solve.

    that's it
    thank you
