Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300 phone has problems with sound

I am having a major problem with the sound on my galaxy pocket. The ringtone and notification both work but I occasionally have to put it on loudspeaker to speak to people. Also when I am using an app, watching a film or listening to music there is no sound from the loudspeaker. When I try to plug the headphones in then it completely freezes my phone and when I remove them again the film or music starts playing again, but still with no sound. Please help

I suggest you to factory reset.Factory reset will definitely solve your problem. This is not a big problem.Below I have mentioned the steps to do factory reset.
    1. Tap on menu app to open menu page from home screen
    2. Then navigate to settings.
    3. Tap to open settings,a new window will appear in that window will see many options.
    4. Drag to below there will see Privacy.
    5. Tap on that.Once it open below will see personal Data
    6. There you will find Factory Data Reset
    7. Now next step is to Tap on that & phone will be asking for your permission like On Or Cancel.Tap on Ok your phone will be reset.

I had a similar issue. I downloaded an app named SoundAbout and am all set now.

    Hello friend,
There may be some software regarding issue to must have to rset your phone and then try again.

Remember, by performing a reset, all your data- settings, messages, apps, etc would be deleted.
    So backup up anything important.

    Follow these steps:
    - Go to 'Settings'.
    - Privacy.
    - 'Factory Data Reset'.
    - Fill in your id and password and confirm.
    - You can choose whether to delete SD card data or not.

After the process is complete, your device would return to its out-of-the-box state or to its factory settings.

    Regards!
