I have put a video on my SD card and tried to play it via my Samsung Galaxy Y. But it shows the message, “Sorry, Video Cannot be Played”. What is the reason behind this issue and how can I avoid it?

    Dear,

Galaxy y screen doesnt Supports HD videos. So you need to play .mp4 videos with 480p.
Sometimes it happends because of wrong format which is not supported by default video player.
Convert those file into .mp4 format or you can install MX video player from Android Market
which supports almost all the formats and works pretty fine.
Just search for MX player and install on your device.

    Pleasure to help you... !!

once check the supported video formats ....of your device mostly it will support mp4 media...
and also the resolution matters ..try to make the correct resolution ...

    hi,

It is the error which occurs whenever the video format is not supported by the video player. The default which comes from the android will not play all kinds of file formats. So, the best way u can do is download MX Video player from the GOOGLE PLAY market which enables you to play all kinds of video formats.

    Cheers,
    Arun

    hi friend,

samsung galaxy Y does not supports all the HD VIDEOS because of
    its less screen resolution .....

also the inbuilt video player does not play some HD videos
in order to play these videos you have to download a MEDIA PLAYER
    from the google store ...

you can download any of these media player:

    MX VIDEO PLAYER
    WINAMP
    VLC MEDIA PLAYER

    and many more ....

i suggest you to dowload the MX VIDEO PLAYER as this is the best media player
that play almost all videos and have great features like brightness and volume, zoom adjustment
    from the screen only....

hope this will help you ....

    best of luck ....

    Hello friend,

I will help you to solve your problem, worry just follow as i say.

1.Firstly it is not the major problem.

You are facing this problem because of the default video player of your phone.

Your player doesn't support that format of videos to be played in your phone.

But your phone can play many other formats which your default player can't play.

For that you will need to download some external players from play store.
    1.MX player.

    2.MOBO player.

    3.Rock player.

    4.V Player.

    5.QQ player

    etc,...

That's it by following the above mentioned steps your problem will get solved for sure.......

    All the best.................

Dear friend, May be the reason behind this problem is that your phone's default video player doesn't support the format of the video you are trying to play. To overcome this problem, install any good video player from Google Play Store. In my opinion MX player is the best player available in the android market. It plays almost all video formats. You can install it for free from Play Store. Hope the answer will be helpful. Regards, Sbmu
