The problem may be with the USB point of the PC where your phone is connected. You can try removing it and connected it any other USB slot of the PC. If the issue is still there, remove the device from USB and connect it again and see if there is no loose connection. Also try restarting your PC to resolve any timely issues with your system. You can also do the same thing with your android phone, as well. Then check whether there is any issue with the device drivers. If then uninstall them and get latest drivers for the device.

    Hi,
The problem with the phone not being able to be connected to the PC might be due to two reasons.
    1. The required drivers are not installed on the PC properly for the phone to connect and that can be repaired by downloading the PC tool from the LG website that is for your phone and then you can easily make the phone to connect the phone to PC.
    2. The problem might be due to the fact that the phone is not having "USB Debugging" enabled. This can be enabled in Settings->Applications->Development after enabling it connect the phone to PC and it should properly connect.
    Hope this Helps.

    Hello friend,

First of all make sure you have installed LG drivers on your PC. You can download them from LG's official site.
Also, your device may be on 'only charging' mode. If so, select media player or mass storage from USB connections.
If this doesn't work restart both, your PC and device and then try again.
You can even try connecting it to another PC to check whether problem is with your device or your PC.
If it is with your device, you may consider performing a factory reset.
If there is some hardware related issue, you can visit LG customer care.

    Regards!
