Screen of Motorola Milestone android handset turns off if kept idle for 30 sec

The Motorola Milestone android handset turns off automatically if it is kept idle for 30 sec. I think I may have accidentally set the option like that which is causing much inconvenience. How can I change this setting?

You have to first visit the home screen of your Motorola Milestone android handset. There you need to navigate to the settings page of your gadget. Then you have to hit on the option that is named ‘display’. Now you can see a sub option of that option labeled ‘screen timeout’. By selecting that option, you will be moved to a page containing a drop down list of different timing like 30 sec. 60 sec, 90 sec etc. You have to select the 90 sec from among the options. Then you need to save the changes that are made to the settings.

You need to increase the screen time out.You should first open then menu app from home screen. Now on menu page navigate to Settings,in settings will see an option as Display. You have to open the option by hitting on it.A new window will be appeared,in that will find option as Screen timeout. You need to tap to open the screen timeout, now you see a window. In the window you will find different time to set the screen timeout. You need to tap on desired time to set screen timeout.Once done then tap on OK to confirm the changes.

May be the "screen-time out" option on your device is kept to that much time, 30 seconds. If you want to have more than 30 seconds, then go to main menu and the step in to "settings". In that, go for "display settings". Then, you will be provided with some options. In that, go for "screen-time out" option and kept it to maximum time. That's it. You are done. The screen will be active until the time you kept for "screen-time out", if you leave it idle.

    Hi,
In order to change the Screen timeout of your phone you have to open the application drawer from your Home screen and then press the "Settings" icon in the settings icon there you will have an option as Display in that you can change the settings of Time out that you can change the settings of the "Screen Timeout" with that option you will be able to change the settings in such a way as to turn the Screen OFF automatically in the required time you want so that your phone doesn't turn OFF immediately once the phone is being used.
    Hope this Helps.

    Hello
    This is a serious issue.
You must have to reset your all settings.
But before resetting , you have to keep a back up of you data.
If the restoring your phone does not resolve your problem then you have to rush to nearest customer services.
The problem may increase so do not use or switch on the handset if not a big necessity.
