Setting up notification volume separately on Android device

It seems that the volume of both incoming call and notifications are same on my Android phone. I need less volume for notifications rather than a call. How can I set it up separately?

Once you get into the home screen, hit the ‘Menu’ key reside on your phone. You can then find a menu at the bottom part of the screen. Browse through that menu and hit the ‘Settings’ option. Tap the ‘Settings’ option available in the list of options pop up on the screen. Go through the default settings options and hit the ‘Sound & display’ option. This will redirect you to the sound settings from which tap over the ‘Ringer Volume’ option. The next step required is to locate the ‘Use incoming call volume for notifications’ label and clear off the checkbox appears next to it with a single tap. You can then adjust the notification volume by sliding the slider under ‘Notification volume’ label. When you are satisfied with the volume, press the ‘OK’ button visible on the screen.

Go to the Settings from home screen of your device.Open it & will find bunch of options, now there will see an option labelled as Sound & Display. You need to open the option by tapping on it.Once done will see a pop up with different options again. Now there you need to tap on Volume option, once done a pop up will appear. In that will find option to set volume for different things.Under that above will appear Ringtone then Media, followed by that Alarm,System Volume & Notification. Now go to Notification label & drag the bar to below.Once done then tap on OK,after that Notification volume will be decreased.
