Setting up a pointer on Android Ice Cream Sandwich for performing screencast

It is quite impossible to do screencast on my smartphone after upgrading to Android Ice Cream Sandwich as there is no pointer in it. I need to set up a pointer with device settings. How can I do that?

The first step required is to get into app drawer in your device. Make a single tap over ‘Settings’ icon. Go to ‘System’ section afterwards and tap the ‘Developer options’ option. There will be two curly braces for this option. You can then find ‘Show touches’ option along with a checkbox. Click on that checkbox until you can view a checkmark inside it. From then on, you can view a white spot on the touch position while touching the screen.
