Steps to be taken for disabling pre-installed apps on Samsung Galaxy Nexus running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich

My Samsung Galaxy Nexus is currently running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and it is possible to turn off custom and widgets on the device. I can’t find an option to disable the pre-installed apps on the phone. Can you please help me do it?

At first, get into the ‘Settings’ app on your Samsung handset and look for ‘Apps’ option. Tap on that option and choose ‘Select All’ option. This will show up a list of apps available in your phone from which locate the pre-installed app you want to disable. Make a single tap on that app so that you can view the app information screen. If you can view ‘Uninstall Updates’ button on that screen, tap on it. Once the updates get uninstalled, you can disable the app using ‘Disable’ button. Otherwise, you can directly tap the ‘Disable’ button.
