At first, root Motorola Droid and install Wireless Tether app from Android Market into it. Launch that app afterwards and switch it into Bluetooth by navigating into Menu->Settings->Use Bluetooth. After that, quit the app and set your Motorola XOOM into AirPlane mode. Then, get into the Bluetooth settings on both devices and select the checkbox next to ‘Discoverable’ and ‘Scan for nearby devices’ options. Head back into Wireless Tether app afterwards and turn it on. You can then find ‘DROID’ option on Motorola XOOM. Tap on that option and hit the ‘Pair’ option when prompted. Once the device gets paired, tap over the wrench icon near to paired DROID. After that, you can tap on the ‘Tethering’ option and perform the tethering via Bluetooth.
Hi friend,
-->For tethering, you need to install the Wireless Tether app..But you should root your Motorola Droid and install the app from the android market..
-->Launch the app and go to Buetooth by Menu--->Settings-->Bluetooth..
-->Now stop the app and set the "Motorola XOOM" to AirPlane/Flight Mode
-->Then go to Settings-->Bluetooth Settings-->Turn on the Bluetooth-->Select the option "Discoverable" and "Scan for nearby devices" options
-->Now turn on the Wireless Tether app
-->You can see the "DROID" device name on the "Motorola XOOM"
-->Tap on that and "pair" it
-->After the device gets paired, tap on "Wrench" icon near to the paired Droid
-->Now tap on the "Tethering" option and do the tethering
Thats it!!!
Thank you!!
