Transferring photos from Motorola Droid Pro to Mac

After connecting my Motorola Droid Pro to Mac via USB, I am not able to transfer photos even though it launches iPhoto. What is the actual procedure required for transferring it successfully?

The physical connection is not the only thing you need. You need to syn both the devices otherwise no transfer will take place. Go to the connection settings and click on sync and then do the transfer process.

    hi friend,

if you want to transfer the photos from your MOTOROLA DROID PRO To Mac then
connect the USB to the your phone and the Mac then set the USB CONNECTION type
as DISK DRIVE in your mobile

you can set the connection type in your mobile by following the path given below:

MENU -----> SETTINGS -----> CONNECT TO PC -------> then set the connection type as DISK DRIVE

you are done ... you can now transfer the the photos succesfully.....

    best of luck......

    Hi there,

If you are unable to make a connection between you device and PC(MAC) using data cable then there is no need to worry.

You can have another way to sync your device.

You can use Bluetooth facility of your device and your MAC (LAPTOP) to transfer the stuff from your device to MAC and vice versa.

Also, you should check out your connection settings to properly sync your device with MAC.

    Regards!!!

well there are two distinguished process by which you can do this :

    1. you can connect with mobile to your MAC laptop via a USB Cable given to you.select the option 'disk drive' / ''turn on USB' which will appear on your screen.now you can simply copy and paste from the phone SD card folder to your computer hard drive

2.you can connect the devices using Bluetooth.Mac offers this facility.for this you need to keep the Bluetooth or your laptop and phone to be turned on.now synchronize the, this will act same as the data cable wire.after successful synchronization, you can transfer any data from your phone to the SD card

**you will need two app to download and install prior to this.
    • AirDroid
    • Barcode Scanner
You will find details in this tutorial video :
