    Trouble in adding new mail account to Motorola Droid Razr android phone

    When I try to add a new e-mail account to my Motorola Droid Razr, it keeps giving the error message “You have already added this email account”. What could be the reason for that?

    hello

    I think you already install in that mobile or any virus effected by your mobile , so first you have to install anti virus and scan first after that only any work should be done . after that scan also no problem is removed then go for RESET option it will work defiantly or .

    If you want check that email is in the mobile just go for Menu --- settings ----> Accounts and Synchronization option and check weather that email is exists are not then do reset .

    Hello

    First you have to check that , your EMAIL ID already registered or not ,for that you go for menu ---- > settings ----> accounts and sync option then you can see all email ids registered then your email id is not exist then go to settings reset all email ids and add again after that your problem solved .

    GO to reset factory option then you will solve your problem add your ID after reset no error massage occurs .

    just follow below steps to add new email account in you android phone:
    go to your settings>>accounts and sync>>then it will ask you for add accounts tap on it and add your account.

    Hi,
    The problem with your phone not being able to add a new account might be due to the fact that the account might already exist your phone. In order to check whether the account is available or not open "Settings" menu from the application drawer by pressing the apps button there you will be able to find a menu by name "Account & Sync" in that select the option and then see that whether you have already added that account that you are trying to add if that account is already present then you will be able to set the necessary option. If that account is not present and still you are getting such results then try removing all the accounts that are added then add the account that want to add first after that add the other accounts.

    May be you are trying to access the same account. Try the following steps.
    1. Go to menu and tap on settings.
    2. Now go to the option "Accounts" and find the option "Add account".
    3. Click on that and try giving any other account name. Then you will be done.
