Unable to access the apps which are in SD card after doing a factory reset in my Android phone

I recently did a factory reset in my Galaxy S Android mobile because of virus issues so before doing that I backed up all the apps in my SD card but now after the reset I am unable to access the app which I moved to SD card. Can you tell me how to access the apps and use again? What are the steps to follow?

    hey ...

As you said that you have moved the apps from your phone to the SD card and then backed up all the data but now you are not able to access the apps ...

The problem seems to me is that :

    - The apps you moved from the phone to the SD card got corrupted during the moving process

    - You have not moved the apps with the right way

    - The apps installation directory changed and hence you are not able to open them

To solve this problem do the following :

    - Check whether you have moved the apps with the correct procedure

    - Check the installation directory of the apps

    - At last if nothing works then you have to install the apps again ...

    thanks

Well the root of your problem lies in How you moved the apps to SD card..
If you used some 3rd party app, then you should that app only to recover your data..
If you moved them manually.. them some directories installed by the app must have left out, if you can't access them now..
Now it seems you have to install the apps again..

In future if you need to create a backup.. use 'Titanium backup' to create a backup in your SD card..
    it restores the backups also..
    manual backup creates problems..

    hello

you can backup all the contacts in your sd card , even other datas can be saved but applications need to be installed in your phone memory and as you did a factory reset all your apps got deleted.

whatever you backed up to your sd card are the physical files. LIke for example: if you download max payne 3 game which needs some additional games they can be saved in your sd card. Then download the app install it, now it wont ask for that file again as it is present in your sd card.

All the apps will be available in your gmail id your can download all of them again from playstore

    Thank You
