Push notification is enabled in FB app but still I am not getting any notifications even after being online in FB. What might be the problem? Can you tell me how to get the notifications properly for FB? Is there any more settings I have to change to make it work properly?

When you are idle, the Facebook application will not give you the push Notifications, you need to refresh the Application by pressing the menu and then chose refresh.
Only after that the application will refresh itself and show you the notifications, If you don't want to refresh every time then you need to set up automatic synchronization for your Facebook Account. That can be done as follows;
Go to contacts --> Press Menu --> Accounts -->Choose the Facebook account --> Turn synchronization.

First of all you should have an active network connection.
Open FB app-->>go to settings-->>see that the refresh interval should be 30 mins
All the notification setting option should be ticked.
Then go to settings-->>accounts and sync-->>turn the sync on
so it will keep on syncing the accounts as long as it gets a data connection.
IF it doesn't solve your problem then uninstall the app and reinstall it again.
It must work now.
