Unable to open Android Market when the SIM card is present

I was using LG shine mobile and have recently updated my android version to 2.3.3 but I am only able to access Google Apps and the Android market after removing the simcard using Wifi.If I remove the SIM card and then use the WiFi then it doesn't show any issue. What exactly has happened to my mobile. Please help me to solve this issue.

Re: Unable to open Android Market when the SIM card is present

    Hello Guest,
This happens when there is some hardware issue with the phone's sim card holder. You can check it, for this insert your sim in some other phone and then check whether it works or not. If the sim works in other phone, but not in your LG Shine, then it is confirmed that your sim card port has got damaged. For getting it fixed you have to go the nearest LG Service Centre and you wil surely be helped there. Thank You. All the Best! :-)

    Hello

Well it seems like a software error. May be while upgrading to gingerbread you might have done something wrong or the error is with the os itself.

So i would suggest you to do a factory reset first and check if everything works or not.

for a factory reset go to settings-->>then tap or backup and reset -->>then tap on factory reset.

else try upgrading to android 2.3.7 which is better and stable built of ginger bread.

    Thank you

Re: Unable to open Android Market when the SIM card is present

this may indicate some physical damage has been to the Sim card holder..
to check this.. try your sim card in another device..
if it works fine means your sim card holder in LG is broken..
visit a service center to get it fixed..
    or
it may also be a software problem that doesn't enable you to access Android market..
    to rectify this..
perform a Factory reset after backing up your data..
Go to Settings >> Backup and reset >> Reset..
this will reset your phone to Factory settings and then you should be able to access the Market on your phone..
