So, I Unplugged the battery, Sim card, SD card and then plugged all these things and started my Android Phone. It started successfully but my SD card in the phone is not at all detected. I tried to reboot my android phone for several times but still it is not detected. Can somebody help me to solve this problem??

    Hi,
In order to make your phone detect your SD card. Open the SD card by the use of any card reader and then copy everything from your SD card to the PC and then format the SD card. Insert the SD card in your phone and see if it gets detected once the SD card gets detected format it again using the phone and then connect the phone to the PC via Data cable and then transfer the things from the PC to SD card so that the phone won't have to read heavy block of memory when it is turned ON. Also see if that helps if that doesn't help then the problem might be with the phone do a reset from the "Settings" menu under "Privacy" option. Once the phone is formatted it will work properly this kind of problems might occur due to third party applications.
    Hope this Helps.

    Hello Guest,
It is possible that the sd card got damaged in the process. Since it was removed in an improper manner, so the chances are high. But to confirm it, first insert your sd card into an external sd card reader. If it works then fine, but if not then surely your card has got damaged. You can replace it with a new sd card. If your card is working fine, then insert it into phone. It will surely work now. Thank You.....

    Hello

as you are saying that your phone got corrupted so i have a feeling that your sd card might have been corrupted or damaged.

That might be one of the reasons for which it is not being detected.

Bring an microsd card reader and put the micro sd into it and check if its working or not. It it is working then your sd card clot might have been damaged. For that you have to go to the service center

second if it downt work buy another micro sd card

Hope you dont download unnecessary stuff from untrusted sites which will damage your phone

    Thank you

    hello,
firstly unmount your sd card and mount it again. now check weather files are accessible
or insert the sd card in some other phone.
or hard reset your phone once

if this doesnt solve the problem then sd card maybe damaged

    Hello friend,
There may be some software regarding issue to must have to rset your phone and then try again.

Remember, by performing a reset, all your data- settings, messages, apps, etc would be deleted.
    So backup up anything important.

    Follow these steps:
    - Go to 'Settings'.
    - Privacy.
    - 'Factory Data Reset'.
    - Fill in your id and password and confirm.
    - You can choose whether to delete SD card data or not.

After the process is complete, your device would return to its out-of-the-box state or to its factory settings.

    Regards!

Re: Unable to Open files in the Memory Card in Samsung Galaxy Y

    Dear Friend..

I think the memory card of your device got corrupted due to which it is unable to read.
But still, you must check your memory card in some other mobile so that it can be clear that the memory card is corrupted or not.
If it is corrupted then you need to buy a new memory card and the cards working fine, then it means there is some error either in your mobile software or in memory card slot.
For this, you have to contact with Samsung Service Center.

    Thank you..

Re: Unable to Open files in the Memory Card in Samsung Galaxy Y

    hey friend ..

I think this problem can be due to the following reasons :

    - Memory card is corrupted
    - Your memory card is affected by viruses
    - There is no much free space in the phone's memory
    - Your memory card slot might got damaged

For this problem try the following steps to solve the problem :

    - Scan your memory card for any viruses or malwares and install antivirus in it ..
    - You can also try to format the memory card and then use it ..
    - Free up the internal memory of phone and then use the phone
    - Just try to use another memory card in your phone to check whether there is problem in your phone or the memory card

If the above steps not solve the problem then i would suggest you to take your phone to the service centre and get your phone checked
    thanks
