From my HTC Desire, I am not able to access two or more applications. On trying to open the applications, cursor only moves but never opens. Since last two days, this problem has erupted. I have not touched the internet settings too. Please suggest a solution.

May be this problem will arrive of low RAM Memory..
So try to make high free space then use many apps..
foe example:Stop live wallpapaer
clear cache memory in browser
Stop unwanted apps..

There are different reasons why you are facing this problem ...
These reasons can be :
- Your phone's memory or which you say internal memory of phone is full
- Your phone was not capable of opening so many applications at that time
- Virus attack in the phone
- Software corruption issue of phone
- Apps got corrupted
- The phone's memory is not free enough to open up more than 1 or 2 apps
- Your mobile speed gets too slow and hence it doesn't allow you to open many apps at the same time
For this you can first try by free up some space in the phone's memory and then reset the phone ...
After that uninstall and reinstall the apps and then use them and see for any change ..
Do remember , dont just minimize the apps by pressing the menu key but close them by closing them from task manager .Also make sure not to open up so many apps at the same time if not needed as doing this makes the phone slow to process ..
Also check for any virus attack in phone using some good antivirus software and see for any software updates available for your phone
