    Unable to play song in the background after exit from the ‘Music’ application in android

    I am using android honeycomb powered android handset. I wanted to make the song to run in the background even after exit from the ‘Music’ application so that I can send a message to my friend even while listening to the music. The problem is that the music stops when I tap exit from the ‘Music’ application. Is this due to any compatibility issues and what could be done to fix this issue?

    The music can well be played when you put the Music application at the background. There wont be any problem in doing that. Do as the following;

    First Go to the Music Application and play the Song, after that simply press the Home button from there that will take you back to the Main Home screen, Now scroll down to the Message Application and send messages.

    Hello Guest,
    You can easily do multi-tasking in android phones. For your query, Just open the Music Player App of your phone and not any third party music player app. When the song is playing, Simply press the Home button. This done, music will play in the backgroung and now you can go to messages in the main menu and enjoy msging as well.... Thank You, I hope this helps..... :-)

    Touch screen handsets would not consider this as an issue. Because it is quite simple to perform multi-tasking on touch screen mobiles. First play the mp3 file you intend to play and then click on Menu so that it makes you get back to main menu without quitting the mp3 file or song. It will continues in the back ground and you can send messages or doing something in the fore ground. That's it. Enjoy performing multiple tasks as your phone supports:-)
