Your device might be having a software error. Sony Ericsson mobiles are reported to have these kind of errors. Kindly take the device to the corresponding retailer and lodge a complaint. Call Sony Ericsson customer care and ask for the procedure to surrender the mobile for servicing. Clearly explain them about the problem and the duration you have used and also if any changes you tried to do with it.

Note: Before going for Servicing,Try to Factory reset once after backing up all your data, This might clear the problem.

xperia x10 mini is not a good phone in my view because it optimized version of x10.and the screen size is too small to operate it .and sometimes it lags too .better change your mobile with new one .

    Hello,

This unresponsive screen can be due to any crashed software or even due to any outer coverings like Screen Protector or any Lamination. It can also due to spilled water on your phone . You should try the Factory Reset option. If then also screen is unresponsive go to any costumer care shop.

    Regards

I think there is an error in the Kernel of your Android Mobile.

Kernel controls the working of components, if it has any error the droid will behave strangely.

If you did not ROOT your phone, then do not worry about the Kernel. There might be a hardware malfunction...

Try to do a Factory Data Reset--->

    1. Go to Settings.

    2. Select Privacy.

    3. Hit Reset Factory Data.

Complete the procedure and the phone will reboot.

If this does not help, go to a service center and get your phone replaced.

Quality of the screen matters while talking about quick responce. Actually capcitive screens are much better than resistives. Because, resistives will respond slowly. Low screen responce of your phone is because of either any software problem or hardware problem. Take your phone to reliable service centre and make software update, if it is software problem. Or if it is hardware problem(screen probile), you better change your phone. Because, it is just been three months, you getting this kind of problems. So make sure that your mobile is quality piece or not while purchasing.
