Using converted music files as an alarm on HTC Droid Eris

I liked a song saved in my brotherís iPhone and I want to use it as an alarm on my HTC Droid Eris. Yesterday, I have converted that music files into a compatible format using iTunes. How can I transfer that file to my android phone and set up as alarm?

You should first connect your android phone to your PC having the converted file via USB cable. You should then unlock your phone and tap over ‘Turn on USB storage’ option. After that, you should open the phone memory on your PC and check whether there is a ‘media’ folder. If not, you should create a media folder in the root directory. You should then create a folder inside ‘media’ named ‘audio’. Then, you should get into ‘audio’ folder and create a folder named ‘alarms’. After that, you should open ‘alarms’ folder and drag the converted music files into it. Once all files get transferred, you should again tap the ‘Turn on USB storage’ option on your phone and disconnect it from the PC. You should then go to ‘alarms’ app on your phone and tap over ‘Add alarm’ option. Then, you should tap the ‘Ringtone’ folder and locate the music file you have transferred earlier. You should tap over that file afterwards and then tap the ‘Save’ button to set it as an alarm tone.

    Hi,
In order to setup a file as a ringtone first you need to connect the phone to a PC and then mount the SD card once the SD card is mounted you will be able to send the Ringtone file to a folder by name Alarm created in your SD card by name "alarm". The alarm folder must created inside the a folder by name "audio" the audio folder must be created inside a folder by name which is called as "media". So you should create a folder by name media in the Root of your SD card and then place the other folder inside the folder and then place the file inside the "alarm" folder once you have placed the file open the "Clock" application from the application drawer and then select the option as "Set alarm" you will be able to set alarm in the alarm setting option you can select the option as to change the "Alarm Ringtone" there the file placed in the SD card will appear select that file and you will be able to set the alarm.
    Hope this Helps.
