    Hello friend,

While ICS was a major transformation over Gingerbread, Jelly Bean is visually the same as ICS.
But it brought major performance differences and some new and very useful features.

    - Jelly Bean Comes with an option of Expanded Notifications you can call back to a missed call of reply to an SMS/mail directly through your notification panel. This feature saves your valuable time and makes your Android experience much easier.

    - A new performance upgrade named as 'Project Butter' was announced in Jelly Bean. It made the user interface much smoother, as the name says: like butter. We can notice a significant difference in the Screen animations and transitions.

    - The stock Android browser is replaced by Google Chrome. It is much faster and efficient than the stock one. There are also major improvements in the voice search app.

    - Other useful features like offline voice dictation and re-sizable widgets were also added. Previously, voice dictation required an internet connection, but now, you can also do it offline. Also the homescreen widgets can re-sized which wasn't possible in previous versions without root access.

    - A new feature called Android Beam was also introduced for NFC supported device. So now, files can directly be transferred through Bluetooth by just tapping 2 NFC devices.

Also there were many other performance tweaks and battery improvements which makes Jelly Bean much superior to ICS.
Also, it is much lighter than ICS and devices which are not supported by ICS due to hardware limitations are now supported by Jelly Bean.

    Regards!
