    Hello,
Do a factory reset of your phone and see everything will become like as before.
[ keep back up of all your data]
Go to settings > back up & reset > factory data reset
After doing Factory reset if nothing improved contact samsung support..

    Thank You

Self rebooting is also a functionality of any operating system. It is a secure
system that when your OS find that there are any problem to access any
thread or any unauthorised application is try to access the data or resource
then that time your device make a self restart to dismiss the problem.

But here, as you are facing it regularly then there are a big problem that a
thresd is always try to access. So to prevent your system from that you
need to optimize your phone by using any good android optimizer apps.

If problem will not solve after optimization then you have only one option,
that is go for factory restore.

When your phone is self rebooting that means there is some thread that is
trying to access and can harm your phone. So for prevnting your phone
from that phone android is going to reboot.

Therefore you need to find out the problem and remove that from your
phone to get a permanent solution. So for it scan your system and it will
be more better that clear your whole memory and junk area. also remove
your whole browsing history. After doing all this your rebooting problem
    will be gone automatically.

you should perform a Factory data reset of your device..
it will reset your phone to the factory settings, erasing and formatting all the data related to phone memory..
so you need to create a backup of the data before proceeding for the Factory reset..
    To do so..
Go to Settings >> Backup and reset >> Factory data reset..
this will restore your device to brand new state.. to Factory settings..

I don't think a single person who replied here actually read what the OP wrote... if the phone is constantly rebooting itself, then you don't really have an opportunity to do a Factory Reset... Good job, guys...

Re: What is the problem that my Samsung galaxy S rebooting itself?

    hey friend ..

I think this problem of automatic phone restarting can be due to the following reasons :

    - Your phone got affected by viruses
    - Your phone's software got corrupted
    - Your phone's battery has got damaged or has become faulty..
    - There is no much free space in the phone's memory

For this problem try the following steps to solve the problem :

    - First scan your phone for any viruses or malwares and install antivirus in it ..
    - Reset and update your phone with the new software
    - Replace your battery with the other battery and then try to use the phone ..If it works fine then you have to just buy a new battery for your phone ..
    - Free up the internal memory of phone and then use the phone

If the above steps not solve the problem then i would suggest you to take your phone to the service centre and get it checked
    thanks
