Check inside settings Where you will find Abut Phone section.Click on About Phone and you will get knowledge about your system updates.
If it shows updates then You can move forward to update the Systems

Samsung galaxy ace duos is supported with the android operating system v2.3 with gingerbread.
The handset will not be launched with the ICS upgrade of Android v4.0.
It is equipped with the 832 MHz processer.
It has front and rare camera with 5mp.
Its screen is bigger in comparison with galaxy y.
Hey
Its actually a new phone and having gingerbread 2.3
It has the hardware required to run ICS but samsung will obviously say some or other reason and wont release it.
If you want to go for custom roms then CM9 is not a bad choice. But i dont think for your device it is available yet. They will certainly relase it soon enough.
Do wait a bit before the final stable version of the rom is released.
Note: Its a bit risky you might loose your warranty.
Thank you

hello
friend, your Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos doesn't support ICS.
if you want to install ICS then you have to root your phone .in that case you loose your warranty time.and it will be harmfull for your phone.
for my point of view dont go for ICS.
thank you
Hello Friend,
I will help you to choose right decision for your problem.
There is no official version of ics released for galaxy ace .
It is not going to be released also bcoz ther are many minor problem's to be faced after installation.
Your mobile supports ICS for sure and it will be fast enough as it of gingerbread.
But the major bug is you are not going to get the camera to be working in ICS for galaxy ace.
It is going to become a tough job for you to install ICS in your phone and it is also risky ,It may also damage totally your mobile.
So it's your choice to choose now if you think you are such a confident to install then only install if not i suggest not to install.
All the best........................
Hello friend,
I will help you to solve your problem, don't worry just follow as i say.
1.Firstly there is no official release of ICS OS for your mobile from your mobile manufacturer.
2.So you can only install it through the Custom Rom CM9.
3.But which is termed to be dangerous.
4.If you do anything wrong while installation you might lose your phone forever.
5.It is also mentioned that you will be not able to use camera app after installation of ICS.
You will also lose the warranty of your phone by doing this process.
If you want to still do the installation then follow this video.

Hello friend,
>>It is Upgrade officially only upto 2.3.6 Ginerbread Android.
configurations of Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos are :
>> CPU is 832 MHz.
>>512 MB RAM
Minimum Requirements For ICS are :-
>>CPU must be powered by 1 GHz.
>>1 RAM is required for ICS.
ICS upgrade is not launched officially launched by Samsung.
you can upgrade it from other sites.
but these sites are not worthy for upgrade.
i will strongly recommend you to not use ICS OS in your android phone.
i hope these info help you alot.
thank you
