Why the ringtone is louder than the music in my Samsung galaxy y?

I try to play music from my galaxy y plugged into a speaker and its really quiet (speakers turned up to the max) then I got a phone call and it was almost blown away because it was louder. I think there is a problem I have seen in the setting, but canít make this normal, so can anyone please help.

    Hello,

No, there is no issue with your phone.
Actually every phone comes with a preset ringtone volume that is higher than music volume.
Because the ringtone is made to be audible in every situation whether you are in traffic or at home. So this is made louder.
Your phone is all right, there is no issue with it.

And the custom ringtones have louder volume. Generally music player is stereophonic and it is concerned with sound quality. But in ringtones there is nothing about sound quality. So, they are louder.

you can minimize your ringtone volume when listening to music.

    Thank You.

    Hello friend

see the thing is some songs have higher bit rate and some have low bit rates. Like the same song can be of 128kbps and 320 kbps

The 320kbps song will have better sound and loudness compared to the 128 kbps song. These are the divisions of audio files like videos have different formats like wise audios have different divisions as well.

your phones ringtone might be of better quality and thus higher sound.

    hope i am clear enough

    Thank you
