dear friends, I think but not sure below reason

Samsung Galaxy Y Duos test result using Antutu Benchmark has 1730 score, from it we can conclude that Galaxy Y duos performance on low level, loose from Sony Ericsson X10i and Samsung Galaxy S.

    Hello Dear...

I can understand your pain but we can't do anything.
the reason behind this was that samsung launched this handset as a non-upgraded version and this is the reason you can't update.
    Hope you understand now.

    thanks

As Samsung Galaxy Y Duos has its own limitations and its a non-upgraded handset, that's why it is not supports Android 4.0.
Similarly many of the handsets in the market follow the same pattern but some of the handset like micromax and zync, BSNL Penta, these all are come in upgraded version.

    Thanks
