Simple, just Enable the Wifi connection in your device, Go to settings --> Wireless and Networks --> Enable Wifi. After Enabling, Go to Wifi settings and search the available connections, after that pair the Mobile device with your Router. If you have set any security password then give the code in the mobile to get connected. After that simply check with any web page. Now your connection is established.

Re: Wifi Not Connecting with Router in Galaxy Tab?

    Hi,
The problem with your Galaxy Tab not being able to connect to a network is such that the you should press the "Settings" button from the application drawer and then select the option as "WiFi" under the Wireless&Networks menu there you will be able to connect to the network by scanning for available networks such that your Wifi network will appear by tapping on the WiFi network you will be able to connect to the network by tapping on the network if there are any passwords to connect to the network then enter them so that the device will be able to connect to the required network. If you are still having problems with connecting to the network then try changing the connection settings of your Router to the supported connections of your Galaxy Tab.
    Hope this Helps.

to connect to a existing wi-fi..
you need to enable the wi-fi.. then it will scan for the available networks in the range..
then you need to connect to the desired wi-fi..

    to enable the wi-fi..
Go to Settings >> Wireless and Networks >> Wi-Fi..
this will scan and show you the available connections nearby..
you can then connect to your router by selecting and then providing the username and password..

Well you can quite easily connect to you modem. All you need to do is enable wifi connectivity. To do that you need to goto settings. In settings goto wireless and connectivity. There you need to tap on wifi to enable the connectivity. After that search for wifi connectivity and add your connection to it.
