Will Motorola Droid phone support Yahoo app and Gmail app for android at the same time?

I have already installed a Yahoo app on my Motorola Droid phone and when I tried to install the Gmail app, it blocked the action stating that Yahoo app is already in use. Is it like my Motorola Droid phone supports only Yahoo app or Gmail app for android at the same instance?

I am not sure about the compatibility of both the apps but one thing is that, there is no such restrictions regarding two messenger.
It might be the application error that's why you face this issue,

I think you should install this Gmail App in your phone memory so that both the apps doesn't come in the contact with each other,
Other wise you can also install some other apps as well.

Install the two apps and you can run them with out any errors .

at the same time you can run them . as the mobile is compatible with both the apps .

Yes,I think the Motorola Droid phone support the Yahoo app & Gmail app..
To check whether the app is compatible with your device,go to Google Play store and in the Search bar type the relevant app name to download..After downloaded,install it...If the app is not compatible with the device it is not shown for your device,otherwise it shows as "This app is not compatible with your device",that is you cannot download or install it from Google Play...
