Will the music file of SD card set as ringtone work after ejection of the SD card in android?

I am using a Micromax android phone. I was not impressed with ringtones available by default in my handset. So I decided to set the ringtone using one of the songs stored on my SD card. My question is whether I will still be able to hear the music even after ejecting the SD card from my android handset?

    Hello

Yes it will automatically set the default ringtone of the device which is the inbuit one as it wont be find any of the ringtones that you placed because they would be on the sd card that you removed.

You can do one thing copy those files to your internal memory. then even if you take out your sd card your ringtones wont change.

    Thanks

    Hi friend,
It is not possible. You will keep this song in your internal memory then you will set your song as a ringtone for your mobile.I will tell you the procedure. In this case first of all you will go to the menu in your android phone. Then you will go to the gallery menu and select SD card. Then you will click on this and search the songs folder. Then you will go to the option menu and select move option. Then you will create a folder and paste the song in this. After all these you will go to the option menu again and select use tone option. Then you will set your song as a ringtone. This is the procedure to do this. Then you will take out your SD card from your phone if you want.

    hey friend ..

I would like to tell you that the ringtone you set from the SD card will be set by the phone by taking the path of the SD card for the ringtone in the settings ..
So , if you remove the SD card from the phone the phone will not recognize any file or ringtone you had set as the path for the ringtone set by the phone was going to the SD card ..

Though if you copy paste that ringtone to the phone's memory then it will not bother you if you remove SD card and the ringtone will work fine even after removing SD card..

To set the ringtones which are in your memory card or the songs or tones which are there in your memory card then you can simply do this by following steps :

    - Go to the track or song you want to set as ringtone
    - Then select 'options' of that song or track....
    - There you will see the option as 'use tone'..
    - Click that and then yo will be prompted to set that tone as ringtone or a contact ..
    - Tap on the desired option and you are done ...

    thanks

    Hi Friend,

Because of it is stored into SD card,
and you can remove sd card,
then how we can access it?

    So, forget about it,

And Copy those MP3 files into Internal Memory which of you can set as ringtone,

    I hope you will understood.

    All the Best.
