Windows 7 gaming issue 'MSVCP100.dll missing'

Just installed Far Cry 3in my Windows 7 PC with NVidia 9600GT GPU, 2.8 GHz Core 2 duo CPU and 4 GB RAM. The game installed fine but upon launching this error appears ‘The program can’t start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling’. The game worked fine in a friend’s pc. How can I fix this issue?

This might be a problem with Visual C++ Redistributable package. Uninstall the game first. Install Visual C++ package (the latest version), and make sure the GPU is updated with latest drivers. Now install DirectX runtime components (the latest you can find). Try reinstalling the game. If the problem persists, use Google search to find the MSVCP100.dll and download it. Paste it in the game directory and launch the game. If another dll is shown to be missing, download it as well. Keep doing this and you will be able to play the game.

Re: Windows 7 gaming issue 'MSVCP100.dll missing'

    Hi Friend,

There is due to following reasons,
    >> MSVCP100.dll file associated with C++ Runtime package,
and it is require to run game but it is not found in your system,
    >> may be C++ Runtime package is not installed in your pc

So, first of all install C++ Runtime package,

if installed try to repair C++ Runtime package
and then try to play games

also you can Download the MSVCP100.dll from internet
    and Paste into System32
    restart Pc
and then try to play game.
this time you will not get any error message.

    I hope you will understood.

    All the Best.
