Windows upgrade requires me to delete programs unavailable in Control Panel

My Vista laptop has been experiencing some issues which made me try an upgrade to Windows 7. However, the upgrade process stops immediately after beginning and asks me to uninstall programs like Verisoft Access Manager and HP Imagezone that aren’t in Add/Remove Programs list of Control Panel. What should I do?

Launch Google search engine in your browser and type in 'Verizon Access Manager'. Now hit Enter. You will see that this program is part of Asus Security project manager, which should be there in your laptop. You can remove Asus Security Project Manager from your system. Removing this program should fix the issue of Verizon Access Manager. As for HP Imagezone, it should be part of the bundled printer software package. You can remove it to fix the Imagezone issue. Now resume the OS upgrade.
