    Avoiding screen flickering in Android phone

    I have Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro, which is an Android phone. After when I activated the Waze GPS app, my phone’s screen starts flickering. I am not able to press any button other than the home button. How to get rid of this problem?

    It might be the problem related to the app that you use in your phone. It is better to uninstall the current app and install another app which serves you the same function. Just remove all the other app and check whether the problem is still there or not. If the problem exists even after removing the apps then problem will be related to the phone.

    Troubleshoot:

    :: Reboot the device.

    :: Then check again issue come again.

    :: Else remove the Waze GPS app.

    :: If you are unable to remove the apps then you can hard reset the device.

    You follow these steps :-

    In your post you have mentioned that your Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini screen flickers unnecessarily means either you display has malfunctioned or it is caused by software.To confirm that the issue is hardware or software you need to Factory reset you device.To Factory reset do the following:
    ==>>Go to settings menu.
    ==>>Backup & reset OR Privacy.
    ==>>Factory data reset.
    ==>>Reset phone.
    Now device will Factory reset and device will be set to default.If the issue still persists then your device screen is faulty and you might require to visit service center for replacement or repair.

    Re: Avoiding screen flickering in Android phone

    hey friend

    The problem you are facing of flickering of screen is simply either a software issue in your phone or the app you are using is corrupted ..
    The problem is common in most of the touch phones where a person is not able to use the touch of the phone due to the reason that the screen has got stuck or the screen is flickering .

    So , for this to solve first backup all your data and then reset your phone and see if anything changes ...
    If that does not help then you can try by having a software update in your phone..
    I am pretty much sure that after the software updation the phone will work fine for you...
    Otherwise you have to take your phone to the service centre and get it checked ..

    thanks
