Battery draining excessively while in standby mode in Samsung Galaxy S3

I have a Samsung galaxy s3 new phone. I shut down background apps (using System Panel Lite) to try to avoid any excessive battery drainage, but when I wake up 6-7 hours later, my battery's been drained dangerously far anyway. I canít understand what is going on?

Well the first and main reason would be the apps that are running in the background which you said it's closed. The second reason might be that you have left internet connection on due to which your phone access it automatically for update. You need to switch off the net connectivity and wifi connectivity.

    hey friend ..

As you said that your battery is fastly draining without using the phone i.e. in the stand by mode also then there is surely some problem in your battery ....
Yes , this is due to the fact that your phone's battery has become faulty now and needs to be replaced with the new one ..
For this first check with another fine working battery in your mobile and then see if it works fine or not ...
If it does work fine then surely you have to change your battery and buy a new one for you mobile ...

Other then this you can try out some of the points to increase your battery life...:

    - The brightness of the phone should be kept as low as possible in which you think can adjust to operate the phone normally

    - Also the vibration of the phone is one thing which consumes the battery more .. so , if you think you dont need the vibration facility then do check it and make it off...

    - Try to keep your phone in power saver mode or sleep mode should be activated...

    - Bluetooth and GPS are the features which should be turned off when not in use...

    - Always charge your phone completely and not partially

    - Unnecessary apps being opened in the background also consumes battery ... So , close them when not in use ...

    thanks
