Fixing up battery drain issue in new android ICS based Samsung Galaxy S3

Even though the performance of Samsung Galaxy SIII is very good, it drains out battery quickly. Is there any fix available for this issue?

You can fix up this issue by configuring the Wi-Fi settings. For that, first unlock the screen and locate the ‘Settings’ from the start up icons. Tap over that icon for getting into the ‘Settings’ app. Go to ‘Wi-Fi’ option from the list of settings. Choose the ‘Advanced’ option from the available options. Then, you can find ‘Connect to Wi-Fi while asleep’ label from the advanced Wi-Fi settings. Tap on the ‘Never’ item under that label until you can view a green circle near to it. From then on, your phone does not use Wi-Fi unnecessarily and drains out battery.

    Hello friend,

I will help you to solve your problem, don't worry just follow as i say.

There are many ways to save the battery and in the case of ICS it has more graphics when compared to that of previous versions of Android.
It also has many background applications which eat away the battery.
Follow these steps so that you can atleast make your battery extend for 1 hour.

1.Lessen the brightness of your phone when not necessary.

2.Clear the cache memory and unwanted apps from mobile.

3.Turn off Bluetooth usage when not necessary.

4.Turn off WIFI when not in use.

    5.Remove 'Live wallpapers'.

If you can't do these on your own then download the third party apps for this purpose.

    ex,.. ZD box.

This app has the many features 'Battery Info', Mobile Traffic,etc.........

This will help you to solve your problem.

    All the best.....................

There may be some running application consuming your battery continuously.
Firstly you need to close all your running apps on your device for this-

    1-Go to settings.
    2-And select application settings option.
3-And then select manage application option.
4-And tap on Active apps and close all your running apps.

Also level down your brightness level in order to save your battery.
And turn Off Bluetooth,WiFi and GPS when they are not in use.
