    Samsung Galaxy S 4G not responding to recovery/download mode

    My Samsung Galaxy S 4G does not respond to either recovery or download mode. I have tried all button combos and there is no difference. How can I resolve this issue?

    Hi mate,
    You can try booting into recovery mode by the adb from your PC. By turning on your phone and connecting it to the PC using a Data cable. Also please check that if you have android debugging checked in setting or if your phone is stuck in bootscreen just proceed as follows and open command prompt in your PC and type
    cd c:\android-sdk-windows and from there you have to navigate to your tools folder in android-sdk-windows
    You have to visit this page http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html and download the the first .zip file.
    You have to extract that to C:\ directory and copy platform tools to tools folder and execute the above command and in order to check weather your device is connected type adb devices it will show the devices model no after that type
    adb reboot recovery (or) adb shell and then reboot recovery.

    ----try rebooting the device and see wether it resolves the issue or not

    Kindly swtich off the device and keep it off for sometime

    Now switch on the device , the problem may have resolved.

    If it doesn't work ,suggest you to go for Factory Reset which is a another better option in such situation.
